When should I take a pregnancy test?

It can be tempting to take a pregnancy test in the lead-up to your period start date, but you can save yourself some uncertainty and anxiety (not to mention money!) if you wait until after your period start date. Until then, look for signs and symptoms of pregnancy like tender breasts, fatigue and light implantation spotting.
