What is a clogged milk duct?
What is it?
A clogged milk duct is when a lactating parent does not sufficiently drain their breast during a feed, or when they go too long between feedings and their breast become engorged. It feels like a small lump in the breast that is usually tender to the touch.
If left untreated a clogged milk can become very uncomfortable and may lead to a more serious lactating condition called mastitis
